Shantara Resort Port Douglas - Adults Only Retreat, Port Douglas

My stay at this resort had its ups and downs. The room was clean and well-furnished, though a bit cramped for two people. The pool area was nice but felt frustrating due to its layout and limited sunlight. While the location was convenient for walking to nearby attractions, the overall service left a bit to be desired, making it hard to fully relax.

My stay at Shantara was absolutely delightful! The resort offers a peaceful retreat with excellent pool areas, and it's just a short walk from the beach and town. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, though I wish the dining options were better, as there's no on-site restaurant. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway amid the hustle and bustle of Port Douglas, but some noise from nearby construction was a minor inconvenience during my stay.

The rooms are spacious and clean, although it would be nice to have some kitchen essentials to avoid spending too much time cleaning. The staff is exceptionally attentive. However, the dining options could be improved, as there are no meals available onsite.
