Luxurious Touches

My stay at Shantara was absolutely delightful! The resort offers a peaceful retreat with excellent pool areas, and it's just a short walk from the beach and town. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, though I wish the dining options were better, as there’s no on-site restaurant. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway amid the hustle and bustle of Port Douglas, but some noise from nearby construction was a minor inconvenience during my stay.

Shantara is an incredible spot for a peaceful getaway in Port Douglas. The no-kids policy makes for a quiet atmosphere, and it's only a short walk to town, making everything very convenient. The rooms are spacious and clean, although it would be nice to have some kitchen essentials to avoid spending too much time cleaning. The staff is exceptionally attentive. However, the dining options could be improved, as there are no meals available onsite.
